In May 2024, we launched a very special project that strengthens our commitment to social and labor inclusion through training programs and work placements, as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy, Care.
In collaboration with organizations such as GREC (Grupo de Educadores de Calle y Trabajo para Menores), the Incorpora and Reincorpora programs of Fundación “la Caixa”, and the Penitentiary Work and Employment Training Organization (OATPFE), MarSenses aims to help integrate into the labor market those who need it most in the Balearic Islands.
So far, three theoretical-practical training courses for kitchen assistants have already taken place in our central kitchen, located on the upper floor of our Que Bo restaurant. This initiative provides training and job opportunities for people from vulnerable groups, such as individuals who have been deprived of liberty. At the same time, participants regain confidence and motivation while we address the need to expand our teams. And the numbers speak for themselves:
Total number of participants: 31
Total number of people undertaking internships in our workplaces: 12
Number of people who have obtained a formal employment contract in our workplaces: 7
