If in our latest blog post we talked about preparation, energy and getting everything ready, let us tell you that this entry —as a kind of second part to that article— comes from an even deeper place: PEOPLE. Because without people, without the teams that bring our hotels to life, nothing else would be possible. Not spotless rooms, not memorable experiences, not that atmosphere you can feel but can’t fake. Everything begins and ends with people.
Teams are not just names on an organizational chart or shifts on an schedule excel sheet. They are stories that intersect, emotions that are shared, glances that understand each other without words. They are people who arrive carrying their life backpacks —with their fears, dreams, wounds, and hopes— and who, little by little, find a safe space where they can be, grow, and feel part of something real.
In everyday life, things happen that don’t appear in any manual. Hugs before starting a shift. A timely “are you okay?”. A knowing look in the middle of the chaos. Words of encouragement when the day feels heavier than usual. Spontaneous laughter, supportive silences, small gestures that hold everything together.
Empathy, kindness, affection, and love —yes, love in all its forms— are also part of the job. Because caring for those who care is not an extra; it’s a responsibility. And when that happens, teams grow stronger, the atmosphere becomes genuine, and work becomes more than just work.
Sometimes the best friendships are born where you least expect them. Even between people who at first didn’t seem to fit, understand each other, or get along. Shared time, daily coexistence, and honesty do their part. Complicity appears, trust grows, and without realizing it, the family expands.
Here, you learn to understand one another, to respect each other, and to accept that not all of us are the same or feel in the same way. And that’s where true richness lies. Understanding becomes the foundation of everything, and mutual respect the common language that sustains it.
Diversity, inclusion, and safe spaces
Working in hospitality means opening the door to other cultures, other identities, and other ways of loving, feeling, and being in the world. It means learning every day through difference and understanding that diversity doesn’t just add value — it transforms.
When a team becomes a safe space, many small things that once remained hidden begin to surface. People who for years silenced parts of themselves out of fear of being different, not fitting in, or feeling judged finally find a place where they can express themselves freely. A place where they can be who they are without asking for permission.
Inclusion is not a speech; it’s a daily practice: listening, respecting, supporting, and caring. It’s looking at others with empathy and recognizing their value, their identity, and their story.
Here, real relationships are built. Not perfect ones, but honest and loyal ones. Relationships with ups and downs, mistakes and lessons learned, but always grounded in mutual care. Where the other person is cared for, loved, and respected —even in difficult moments.
That care is what empowers, what builds trust, and what makes people feel seen and valued. And when people are well, everything flows: the work, the communication, and the experience we offer to those who visit us.
We approach the 2026 season with a clear and deep conviction: people are —and will always be— the most important thing. They are the heart of the project, the engine that drives it all, and the reason every day makes sense.
When we put people at the center, we don’t just build hotels. We build community, connections, and spaces where it’s truly worth being. And that, without a doubt, is our greatest strength.
Because people are everything!
